Dr. Jason Cohen is a specialist in pain medicine and anesthesia, part of the global Stella organization that provides mental health care to tens of thousands of people across the United States, Australia, and Israel. Dr. Cohen is a leading expert in the dedicated SGB protocol for treating post-traumatic stress and anxiety disorders.
Dr. Stuart Seidman
Dr. Stuart Seidman is a senior board-certified psychiatrist and internationally recognized expert in psychopharmacology, with more than 25 years of clinical and research experience in the United States and Israel. He served for over 15 years on the clinical psychiatry faculty at Columbia University and has been providing ketamine treatment since 2012.
Prof. Michael Drescher
Prof. Drescher is a senior emergency medicine physician with over 25 years of extensive clinical and leadership experience in Israel and the United States. He is an Associate Professor at Tel Aviv University and the University of Connecticut, and previously served as Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Beilinson Hospital. Prof. Drescher brings deep, well established expertise in the safe and effective medical use of ketamine.
Dr. Eugene Lipov
Dr. Lipov is the co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Stella and a board-certified physician,
with more than 27 years of clinical experience. He earned his medical doctorate from Northwestern University and has led significant advancements in trauma-focused care. In 2006, he pioneered the use of Stellate Ganglion Block for treating post-traumatic stress disorder and later developed the advanced protocol known as Dual Sympathetic Reset. His work has reshaped the field by offering a biological pathway to relieve trauma-related symptoms. Dr. Lipov’s dedication is deeply personal, rooted in his own and his family’s experiences with PTSD and depression. This background gives him a profound understanding of the emotional and physical toll of trauma. He is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to those seeking relief and recovery.
Dr. Shauna Springer
Shauna ‘Doc’ Springer is the Chief Psychologist for Stella, a leading, trusted authority on innovative trauma treatments. Dr. Springer is responsible for developing Stella’s trauma informed approach to care across its international network of more than 40 clinics. She leads training and public speaking engagements for Stella and is the host of the podcast “The Story of Our Trauma.” She is a best-selling author of three books on trauma and is widely considered to be one of the world’s leading experts on psychological trauma, military transition, suicide prevention, and close relationships.
Dr. Brian W. Boyle
Brian earned his MD from Harvard Medical School after graduating from Yale College with honors in philosophy. He completed his psychiatry residency at MGH and McLean Hospitals, where he served as Chief Resident of Psychotherapy and the Program in Psychodynamics. Brian is now the Chief Psychiatric Officer at Stella, clinical lead of the Boston location, and an attending psychiatrist in the Neurotherapeutics Department at McLean Hospital, treating complex mental illness with advanced modalities including ketamine. He completed a fellowship at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute and received additional training in Mentalization Based Treatment at McLean. Brian also serves as an Affiliate Psychiatrist at the Two Brattle Center, providing evidence-based treatment for personality disorders such as dialectical behavioral therapy. He practices family therapy in collaboration with the Gunderson program at McLean. With experience in the Harvard Innovation Lab and Techstars Boston, he applies systems psychodynamics and team-based coaching to support founders and entrepreneurial teams.
